So, it’s October 10th, and right now I’m knee-deep in my fall sessions and trying to figure out how to decorate for Halloween. Honestly, it’s mostly because I’ve got kids, and as moms, we just feel like we have to do it. But the truth is... we still don’t even know what we’re doing for Halloween! And, yep, my kids don’t have costumes yet. I haven’t even bothered asking them what they want to be because, for me, Halloween is basically the start of the Christmas season.

I’m way more excited to set up the Christmas tree, switch my mood to gingerbread, twinkly lights, Christmas music, and all the fun and love that comes with it. And since I’m obsessed with Christmas, I can’t help but love doing Christmas sessions too!

It’s simply beautiful. Whether you choose a session outside with a simple setup or go all out with a fully decorated set, it’s just beautiful. The colors, the mood—everything is so worth it. And if you have kids, they absolutely love it.
